Inspite of SD Burman(Father of Pancham) providing music to film fraternity with real good melodies like 'Chhod Do Aanchal Zamana kya Kahega ' , Hai Apna Dil To Awara etc. People were happy listening to these songs yet bored of similar melodies. hence the audience were in search of good music bands and that turned their interest towards English bands.
