                                 The Establishment Of Pancham Da As mentioned in the previous blog Pancham Da got his first break from the Movie Chhote Nawab(1961) and he stepped into the shoes of an independent music composer. Chhote Nawab had the actor  Mehmood  in the Main lead. Mehmood impressed by Pancham Da's music chose him for his next movie  Bhoot Bangla  which was written,directed and produced by Mehmood himself. Apart from composing Music for the film Pancham Da also acted in the film on the request of Mehmood. When SD Burman got to know about this he restricted Pancham from acting in further films and ask to choose between acting and music and without any hesitation Pancham Da chose music because he knew music was his forte.  Now coming to Pancham Da's first biggest hit film which gave him an recognition in the industry that is the movie  Teesri Manzil  (1966).                        The Beginning Of The Pancham Era The era of 1960's included all superior music composers viz Shankar Jaikishan ,   SD Burman   ,    Salil Chowdhury   ,  Madan Mohan   ,  OP Nayyar   and many more.Even though bollywood had such great iconic composers still there was a lack of some charisma of music. Inspite of SD Burman(Father of Pancham) providing music to film fraternity with real good melodies like    'Chhod Do Aanchal Zamana kya Kahega ' ,  Hai Apna Dil To Awara  etc.  People were happy listening to these songs yet bored of similar melodies. hence the audience were in search of good music bands and that turned their interest towards English bands.  In those times, there were Murphy radio sets outside tea stalls to listen to music and one fine day people stopped and a heard a song played on the radio carefully. Who in the world doesn't like music. Music is an integral part of everyone's life,knowingly or unknowlingly music has acted as an influence on people's life.
