                       The Beginning Of The Pancham Era The era of 1960's included all superior music composers viz Shankar Jaikishan ,   SD Burman   ,    Salil Chowdhury   ,  Madan Mohan   ,  OP Nayyar   and many more.Even though bollywood had such great iconic composers still there was a lack of some charisma of music. Inspite of SD Burman(Father of Pancham) providing music to film fraternity with real good melodies like    'Chhod Do Aanchal Zamana kya Kahega ' ,  Hai Apna Dil To Awara  etc.  People were happy listening to these songs yet bored of similar melodies. hence the audience were in search of good music bands and that turned their interest towards English bands.  In those times, there were Murphy radio sets outside tea stalls to listen to music and one fine day people stopped and a heard a song played on the radio carefully.
